/ Projects / Case Studies / Custom Pneumatic Tube System Upgrade Improves Efficiency and Reliability
The customer was experiencing ongoing issues with an existing pneumatic tube system that no longer met their operational needs. The system lacked the capacity and reliability required to support daily workflows, creating inefficiencies and increasing the time required to transport materials throughout the facility.
The customer needed a solution that would better align with their operations and support future growth.
Summit Access & Security worked closely with the customer’s team to evaluate the limitations of the existing system and understand how materials moved throughout the facility. Through a collaborative planning process, we identified the features, capacity, and functionality needed to support their workflow effectively.
Based on those discussions, Summit Access & Security designed and installed a larger Hamilton Point-to-Point Pneumatic Tube System tailored to the customer’s operational requirements. The project included system design, installation of pneumatic tubing and infrastructure, testing, and operational verification.
Throughout the process, our team remained focused on delivering a solution that worked the way the customer wanted it to work, ensuring the final system supported both current needs and long-term objectives.
By partnering with the customer to understand their needs and design the right solution, Summit Access & Security delivered a pneumatic tube system that improved reliability, increased efficiency, and provided a better overall user experience. The upgraded system now supports faster workflows and more dependable material transport while positioning the facility for future operational demands.
