/ Projects / Case Studies / TD Bank – Emergency Response and Storefront Reconstruction
From emergency board-up to final installation, Summit Access & Security’s in-house team provided TD Bank with responsive, personalized service that restored the branch quickly and without disrupting operations.
Summit Access & Security was contacted by TD Bank Facility Manager following a major incident at the bank’s Wappingers Falls branch. A vehicle had driven entirely through the building, causing significant damage to both the exterior and interior storefronts. The branch was immediately rendered vulnerable, and the incident required urgent action to protect the site and initiate repairs.
Because Summit Access & Security is a self-performing provider, the branch received immediate, personalized attention from our in-house team rather than being routed through third-party contractors. This direct approach ensured quick communication, responsive decision-making, and a tailored plan of action from professionals who understand our clients’ needs and priorities.
The damage posed both a security and operational risk. Immediate board-up and site protection were critical to prevent unauthorized access and further damage. At the same time, the client needed a thorough assessment and a fast-tracked proposal process to move repairs forward without delay. It was essential to have a reliable partner who could handle fabrication, installation, and full project coordination in-house, ensuring that work progressed efficiently while minimizing disruption to banking services. All of this had to be accomplished under tight timelines, with clear and consistent communication throughout.
Immediately following the call, Summit Access & Security gathered essential site details and dispatched its emergency response crew. Within hours, they completed a full board-up of the affected areas, securing the branch from additional damage, intrusion, or liability concerns.
Within 48 hours, Summit Access & Security conducted a detailed site evaluation and developed a comprehensive reconstruction proposal with exact specifications and a project timeline.
The proposal was quickly approved by the facility manager. Summit Access & Security then coordinated procurement, fabrication, and labor scheduling to align with TD Bank’s operational needs.
Installation was scheduled to minimize disruption, with the exterior storefront completed on Friday, January 24, 2025, followed by the interior storefront on Saturday, January 25, 2025.
This project showcased Summit Access & Security’s ability to manage complex, time-sensitive emergencies with precision. By providing end-to-end support, Summit Access & Security delivered a solution that prioritized safety, speed, and customer service.
